Hello Kitty Cake

I am back after a long maternity break.

This is a cake I made recently. The floral design is an inspiration from the little girl's school bag for whom I made the cake. The Hello Kitty topper is a candle. I added some flowing flowers just to give some elevation to the topper.

Lord Krishna Theme cake

Lord Krishna is a diety worshipped across many traditions in Hinduism. He is well known for his mischievous acts during his childhood days.

This unique theme cake was made for the birthday of a baby girl. The main aim of the design was to reproduce the environment & things related to Krishna's stories. The design flows into the village scene with mountains on the background & festive looking houses with lots of greenary around. Krishna is often known for stealing/eating butter. So the Krishna topper is created with some butter pots. To match the whole theme the birthday message is also written on a peacock studded floral plaque.

All the decorations are edible made of sugar fondant.

Barney celebration cake

This cake was made for the birthday of a 3 year old girl who loves Barney. The Barney & friends figurines were provided to me.

Since Barney is always assoicated with teaching ABC's & 123's this was considered to be the theme. Colorful stars were added to give the celebration feel. Alphabets of the name were added to mini cupcakes which surrounded the main cake.

The birthday girl enjoyed all the decorative elements on her cake.
