This cake was created for a 2 year old boy. The cake was designed with a mountainous scenic background, where Thomas train is going on tracks. The train tracks start on the upper area of the cake which goes into a tunnel, then continuing all around on the base of the cake. Lots of trees add beauty to the scenic landscape.

Oh my son many years ago would have loved this cake. He was a Thomas tank fan :) Adorable cake!

A very meticulous work. Loved the overall view and display. What type of cake did you make ?
Thanks Rosie. Seems all the babies go through the same kinds of characters at different stages of their life :-)
Thanks Anamika for the comments. The cake was Chocolate chip marble.
Wishing you a very Happy Valentines Day!
I would like to present you on this Valentines Day a Red Rose

A further question..what colour do you use in the royal icing or do you hand paint using alcohol ?
was caught at work, got time today to ask..
Thanks Rosie for the rose. Hope you had a good Valentines day.
Anamika : There are no royal icing decorations on the cakes I have posted so far. The cakes are iced in buttercream. The decorations are made of fondant Or chocolate candy. I use the gel colors & candy colors for the hand painting.
Hope this was helpful

Is it possible to order Thomas cakes via the internet? My nephew would go crazy. Him and I just spent an hour looking a images online of Thomas and friends.
Thanks Toby for visiting my blog. If you are located in the Chicagoland area, you can definately order over Internet. Unfortunately, I do not ship the cakes to different locations.
