Butterflies in garden Cake

Who wouldn't love butterflies..? These amazing colorful creatures add so much of beauty to the garden. They are the main focal point forming the topper for this cake.

This cake is all about fun in the garden with all the elements as per the likes of the birthday girl. I tried to create each & every element that was mentioned to me. The sun, rainbow & the topper butterflies are highlighted with the sky background. The base cake creates the garden background with bright colorful striking flowers. Garden bugs like caterpillar & ladybugs add more dimension to the cake.

A close of the top tier of the cake. All the decorations are edible, handmolded with fondant.

The theme you come up with for each cake is fabulous and love the detailing to....Thomas train cake was also awesome :)

Do you spray paint or use airbrush to create the double colour effect or just mixing tinted buttercream? Would appreciate if you can help with few tips on that :)

Thanks Mishmash for the compliment. I use tinted buttercream to get the different colors.

Hope that helps!
